The Goal

To foster the next generation of Tampa Bay's commercial real estate leaders through an experiential program that matches senior CRE professionals with SOREP Scholarship Recipients. Over time, the program will be expanded to include young professionals under the age of 30.

Format

The program will feature 8 monthly one-on-one in-person and/or virtual meetings to discuss prompts that will guide students through their educational and professional journey, with the first iteration running from October 2023 through May 2024. The program will involve monthly assignments and prompts for mentees to complete that will provide a foundation for the meetings. Mentees will also receive complimentary admission to SOREP's keystone event on September 21: "A Meeting of the Minds" to be held at Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club in Tampa.

Benefits

Mentors will cultivate emerging talent from Florida universities while establishing relationships with these high-achieving scholarship recipients who are seeking internships and job opportunities in Tampa Bay. Mentees will gain valuable insight from senior CRE professionals and receive personal guidance on how to best plan for a successful commercial real estate career post-graduation.
