The Society of Real Estate Professionals (SOREP) is a Tampa Bay-based 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization and is the premier group of commercial real estate professionals in the region. Established in January 2017, SOREP boasts a membership base of around 250 professionals from a variety of backgrounds including finance, development, banking, legal, construction, architecture/engineering, and other real estate services. SOREP’s primary mission is to empower the next generation of real estate professionals by supporting state university and college real estate programs and providing merit-based scholarships to qualifying students. Since 2018, SOREP has awarded $217,500 in scholarships to students pursuing real estate related degrees and long-term careers in Florida. SOREP also endeavors to enrich the careers of its members through the sharing of multidisciplinary knowledge and providing access to key industry leaders and important real estate developments throughout Tampa Bay. These missions are fulfilled through monthly events including breakfasts panels, property tours, expert presentations, and networking happy hours. Past Speakers Include:
