Bios

Will Conroy is a Partner at Johnson Pope and handles a broad range of complex commercial real estate and corporate issues for his clients throughout Florida and the entire Southeast. His clients include developers, investors institutional private equity funds, EB-5 developers and funds, as well as high net worth individuals and their associated family offices. He also regularly counsels clients on corporate securities and financing related matters. Representative engagements include serving as lead counsel on the development of a 15-acre mixed-use project, negotiating a portfolio of ground leases for a fast-growing restaurant chain, handling all financing negotiations (including FNMA) for a multi-family owner/operator, counseling a private lender client on the purchase (and subsequent modifications) of commercial loans, the sale of a portfolio of limited-service hotels, and representing the developer of an affordable housing project utilizing tax credits.

Kami Corbett is of counsel and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She provides general real estate, land use and workout services to a national client base, including lenders, real estate developers, Real Estate Investment Trusts, multifamily and single family builders, wind-to-energy clients, and business owners. She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice.

Ms. Corbett’s experience includes working in more than thirty jurisdictions throughout Florida and in multiple jurisdictions throughout the country on wind energy facilities. In addition to her real estate practice, Ms. Corbett provides services to clients relating to compliance with the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Larry Dougherty is a senior counsel and litigator with Foley & Lardner LLP. He handles complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts with a focus on intellectual property litigation and appeals. Mr. Dougherty’s clients include executives, directors, inventors, investors, and their public and private companies in the following industries: health care, financial services, home building, and commercial real estate. He is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Appellate Practices.
